The other design is cool too but I like this one best the wing part is so intricate.

Thank you, and yeah it's going on my back, I thought about the other one, but this one is the one I'm getting simply because when I turn 50 and change my mind about it, I can simply have a tribal band put over the AFI lettering to change the whole tattoo ^_^ paren't are have a fit over it lol

I myself am an Illustrator/Tattoo Artist and I believe if you are going to get one, get one that you will want to live with for the rest of your life. Also, if AFI means something to you why would you cover it later on in life. Think completely before going through with it. Tattoo artists hate cover ups. And besides Tribal is the trendiest form of tattoos.

Hey Trev, don't I wish I had your job lol, anyway I miss wrote my last comment, you see I don't plan on getting a cover up, I love AFI, they're truly one of the bands who I could get a tattoo for and not care when I'm eighty year's old. and I agree, it's Tribal is truly one of the more lovely of tattoo art, I'm an artist so I know what I want to be on my body ^_^
anyway thanks for the hint about the wording, I'm going to get the tattoo first, and if at some later date I'd like to get the wording, I will, but right now I'll stick to the simply trible art, it's already going to hurt like a bitch lol

i like the tattoo. when i can im going to get "nothing from nowhere im no one at all" tattooed on the inside of my left elbow and "i think im gonna crash" on the inside of my right wrist.

You know that is a neat idea, the only reason I'm not getting the text work done when I get mine is I don't have the money or pain liking to do it all at once, it will be my first tattoo so I'm just going to do it a little at a time, my back and my uper legs are the only places I will allow myself to get a tattoo, I wan't to be able to get a good job when the time comes to stop the teenage job hunt and grow up ~_~ blah the horrible idea, growing up. lol

im with you. i cannot stand pain that much.o_O but i want my first tat to be something afi ona soft spot. i'll go on from there. as for the job search part...bah. i'll just wear long sleeves.; )

lol I'd wear long sleeves, but in FL, you end up dropping dead by the end of the day lol believe me I used to do it ALL the time... ^_^
